Rigorous field testing
Before being released, the Tahr Ultralite underwent rigorous field
tests in some of the harshest environments worldwide, from New
Zealand’s Southern Alps, to Alaska’s Kodiak Island and the
Himalayas.

AEGIS 3-layer knit

Jacket is made from Swazi’s proprietary AEGIS strata
fabric which incorporates a mechanical stretch, with the added
benefit of being able to be rolled up tightly into its own hood.
This makes it compact and lightweight for travelling, or to fit
discretely into your own daysack. This 3-layer AEGIS knit fabric
keeps it soft, light, very quiet, and of course, waterproof.

Award-winning features
The hood of the Tahr Ultralite is based on Swazi’s award-winning
Tahr XP which provides amazing peripheral vision. With the
inclusion of new cord stoppers, cords are kept out of the way with
no risk of getting snagged or caught. Two hand-warmer pockets,
elasticated cuffs and the ability to fit many base and mid-layers
underneath means this jacket is set up to keep you as protected
from the elements as possible.

Longer tail
Thanks to the Tahr Ultralite’s longer and heavy-weight tail and
elasticated shock cord, there is no chance of getting a soggy bum!
In extreme conditions, you can pull in the bottom of the jacket for
added protection.
